I’m going to keep this short and sweet—I work with the greatest hiphop artist in AMERICA. Phil Street has already opened a concert for Common in Washington DC, and is widely recognized for his creative style and lyrics.
The relevant part of this is, we found the Ratatat music months back and have used it to record tracks on. There is no artist in the world who can do justice to this music like Street does.
I simply ask that you listen to his songs on the Ratatat music.
He doesn’t want to be signed or anything like that. Just one listen and we all know you’ll want to toss him a few old throwaway tracks for him to show his creativity on.
I know you probably get a lot of fanmail but that’s not our aim.
I will contact you every single day for the next 2 years or however long it takes just for you to see how well the two sounds mesh together.
